District Collector announces interest-free crop loans and animal care loans for farmers; Can be availed through all Primary Agricultural Co-operative Societies in Coimbatore District

Non-member farmers can avail of all types of loans by joining the Primary Agricultural Co-operative Credit Societies, by paying a membership fee of Rs.100 and an entry fee of Rs.10.


Coimbatore: The Coimbatore District Collector, G S Sameeran has announced that interest-free crop loans and interest-free animal care loans can be availed through all the Primary Agricultural Co-operative Societies in Coimbatore District.

"Farmers in Coimbatore district can avail loans from the Co-operative Society at the nearest Primary Agricultural Co-operative Credit Unions with ID proof such as their Aadhar card, photocopy of family card, computer-printout 'Chitta' related to land ownership, certificate from Village Administration Officer related to crop cultivation and passport-size photograph.
