Coimbatore City Police Issue Warning: Strict Action Against Air Horn Vehicles

The Coimbatore City Police have issued a warning that strict action will be taken against those using air horn vehicles in the city. The police are determined to ensure road safety as well as environmental protection within the city by enforcing the Motor Vehicles Act.

The police are taking a variety of measures to ensure road safety in Coimbatore.

The police are also strictly enforcing the Motor Vehicles Act with a focus on environmental protection. As a result, it is proposed to take action under the Motor Vehicles Act against car owners in Coimbatore who use air horns that generate a loud noise in their automobiles.

Accordingly, various committees have been formed in Coimbatore city from 26th Of this month in coordination with the officials of the police, transport department and pollution control departments. Action will be taken to identify vehicles using air horns that can make loud noises in different parts of Coimbatore city.

Strict action will be taken under the Motor Vehicles Act if vehicles fitted with air horns are found.
