Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Prathap has introduced the toll-free number 14420 for the public to report problems with safe sewage disposal through sewage vehicles and private sewage vans.
Coimbatore: The Coimbatore Municipal Corporation has released a toll-free number for residents to complain about the problems faced in proper and safe disposal of waste water.
Corporation Commissioner Prathap stated in a statement,
To monitor the proper and safe disposal of septic waste sludge from public houses by Coimbatore Corporation sewerage vehicles and private sewers, the toll free number 14420 (Toll Free) is operational around the clock for public contact in Coimbatore Corporation.
The public is advised to use toll free telephone service 14420 (Toll Free) if there are any grievances and complaints regarding waste disposal.
It is also stated that if there are difficulties in service on sewerage vehicles, they can be contacted using this toll-free number. Therefore, the public should use this facility and participate in the development of Coimbatore Corporation.
