K J Alphons, the Union Minister of State for Tourism (Independent Charge) will flag off the inaugural special train No.06319 Kochuveli – Banaswadi Humsafar express at Kochuveli railway station at 11.00 hours on October 20. The inaugural special will run to open timings and stop at Kollam, Chengannur, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Erode, Salem, Bangarapet, Whitefield and Krishnarajapuram.

Train No.16319 Kochuveli – Banaswadi Humsafar express (Bi-weekly) will leave Kochuveli at 18.05 hrs. on Thursdays and Saturdays to reach Banaswadi at 10.45 hrs. on Fridays and Sundays.
Train No.16320 Banaswadi – Kochuveli Humsafar express (Bi-weekly) will leave Banaswadi at 19.00 hrs. on Fridays and Sundays to reach Kochuveli at 09.05 hrs. on Saturdays and Mondays.
The trains will stop at Kollam, Chengannur, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Thrisur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Erode, Salem, Bangarapet, Whitefield and Krishnarajapuram. The trains will have 15 AC 3-tier coaches.
