Coimbatore : The Southern Railway has cancelled trains and altered services due to electrification work in Salem-Karur section via Namakkal.
According to a statement, train no. 06833/06834 Karur- Salem- Karur Passenger special is fully cancelled from 13.12.2018 to 22.12.2018, for 10 days.
Changes in Pattern of Train services:
Due to the erection of Precast RCC boxes in lieu of LC No. 108 at Danishpet station yard on 15th December and 18th December, the following changes in the pattern of train services passing through Salem division due to engineering work.
Regulation of train services on 15.12.2018 (Saturday)
1. Train No. 07110 Kollam- Hyderabad special will be regulated for 60 minutes between Salem to Jolarpettai section.
2. Train No. 13352 Bokaro Express Alappuzha- Dhanbad express will be regulated for 40 minutes between Salem to Jolarpettai section.
3. Train No. 16339 Mumbai- Nagercoil Express will be regulated for 60 minutes at Tirupattur.
4. Train No. 16332 Thiruvananthapuram- Mumbai Express will be regulated for 40 minutes between Erode – Salem section
Regulation of Train services on 18.12.2018 (Tuesday)
1. Train No. 66019 Katpadi- Salem Memu passenger will be regulated for 60 minutes between Jolarpettai – Salem section.
2. Train No. 12675 Chennai central- Coimbatore Kovai express will be regulated for 40 minutes between Jolarpettai- Salem section and will result in rescheduling of Train No. 12676 Coimbatore- Chennai central express for 40-minute delay (late start).
3. Train No. 22815 Bilaspur- Ernakulam express will be regulated for 50 minutes between Jolarpettai – Salem section.
4. Train No. 07142 Kollam- Hyderabad special will be regulated at Salem Junction for 25 minutes
5. Train No. 16331 Mumbai to Thiruvananthapuram express will be regulated 50 minutes at Tirupattur station
6. Train No. 22637 West coast express Chennai Central- Mangaluru express will be regulated for 15 minutes at Tirupattur station
7. Train No. 56111 Jolarpettai- Erode Passenger will be regulated for 10 minutes at Bommidi statio
