Coimbatore : College Students studying in various arts and science colleges in the District and belonging to BC, MBC and DNT are asked to apply for government scholarship before October 14, 2019.
In a press release issued by the District Collector it has been notofied that scholarship has been extended to the students from socially and economically weaker sections and they could avail it in different categories including BC, OBC and DNT.
The students have been directed to submit their applications before October 15 in their respective colleges, duly attached with necessary documents including bank account number.
The students can also apply online before October 25 (for renewal) and November 30 (for new applications).
While there is no income limit for degree students, for students studying in ITI, Polytechnic, the annual income of their parents should not exceed Rs.2 lakhs.
