Karumalai Bazaar gets a boost wit Bhumi Pooja: Council president’s participation in shelter and toilet construction

After the passenger shed collapsed in Karumalai estate area near Valparai, city council president Azhagusundaravalli participated in the bhumi pooja for the rehabilitation work at a cost of Rs 7 lakh and the construction of a new public toilet at a cost of Rs 19 lakhs.


Coimbatore: Today was the bhumi Pooja for the renovation of the passenger shelter and toilet at Karumalai Estate Bazaar, near Valparai.



The current passenger shelter at Karumalai Estate Bazaar in Valparai in Coimbatore district was damaged and collapsed, passengers could not sit inside the shelter.



The bhumi Pooja for the renovation of the passenger shelter at a cost of roughly Rs 7 lakh and the newly constructed public toilet next it, which had been laying useless for a long time, was conducted in the interest of the people of the region.



Mayor Azhagu Sundaravalli, former municipal councillor Selvam, 12th ward town councillor Anbarasan, municipal contractors, and members of the local community were present on the occasion.
