Youth from Local Village Take Action Against Kerala's Chicken Waste Dumping at Walayar Border!

A group of youth from a local village caught hold of miscreants who dumped chicken waste from Kerala at the Walayar border in Coimbatore and forced them to take back the dumped waste.



Coimbatore: Miscreants have recently been dumping meat waste, including poultry, brought from Kerala, on highways along the Tamil Nadu border at night.

In particular, there are health hazards due to dumping on the roadsides in Areas like Walayar and Pollachi in Coimbatore. Based on several complaints in this regard, the police have also intensified patrolling during the night hours.



In this case, miscreants who were transporting chicken waste in a mini-auto from Kerala dumped it near the Walayar border highway flyover. On seeing this, the local youths, when asked about the men, abused them and threatened them with inappropriate words.

Following this, the youngsters called the residents of the village and threatened them with legal action.



Following that, the men gathered up the chicken waste and took it back in an auto.

The youths informed the KG Chavadi police about the incident. The police reached the spot and are interrogating the persons who were carrying chicken waste in the auto.
