Young woman gives birth in an 108 ambulance near Coimbatore

Nagaraj's wife Anushiya (21) hails from Thoppampatti near Coimbatore. She was pregnant and suddenly experienced labour pain this morning. As the pain increased on the way to the hospital by 108 ambulance for delivery, the ambulance staff delivered a baby boy.



Coimbatore: A pregnant woman gave birth to a baby boy in the 108 ambulance near Coimbatore.

Nagaraj hails from Thoppampatti near Coimbatore. He is survived by his wife Anusiya (21). She was pregnant and suddenly developed labour pain this morning. Relatives informed the 108 ambulance to take him to the hospital.

Medical assistant Tamil Azhagan and driver Sakthikumar visited Anushiya's house and found that the baby's head was exposed and anushiya was immediately loaded into the ambulance and given first aid treatment.

With the help of the ambulance staff and relatives, an ambulance gave birth to a beautiful baby boy.

Following this, the ambulance staff took the mother and the child to thudiyalur primary health centre for treatment. The doctors who examined the baby and the mother there said that both are fine. Medical assistant Tamil Azhagan and driver Sathikumar were felicitated by the public for taking steps to ensure that they delivered in the ambulance.
