Coimbatore has been experiencing heavy rains for the past two weeks. Hailstorm in Edayarpalayam area last week brought joy to the people.

Since then, it has been raining heavily in various parts of the state every day. Heavy rains accompanied by strong winds lashed Ukkadam, Karumbukkadai, Kuniyamuthur, Railway Station and Gandhipuram areas of Coimbatore city today.

Especially in Ukkadam and Karumbukkadai areas, where dark clouds surrounded the vehicles, leaving the headlights on.
