Thadagam Police arrest three persons who stole old iron articles from brick kiln

Thadagam police have arrested three persons for stealing old iron articles from Sri Kavi Chamber in Periya Thadagam division of Coimbatore and lodged them in Coimbatore Central Jail.


The Thadagam police arrested three persons for stealing old iron articles from Sri Kavi Chamber in Periya Thadagam division of Coimbatore and lodged them in Coimbatore Central Jail. They also seized a Tata Ace goods vehicle using 55 kg of old iron and smuggling from them.

The brick kilns that were functioning in Thadagam area of Coimbatore are not functioning due to a court order.

In this case, the Thadagam police were conducting a vehicle checking on Pannimadai Thadagam Road.

At that time, a Tata Ace goods vehicle was stopped and checked. There were old iron objects in it.

On questioning the three men, it was revealed that they were Sekar of Madurai, Ayyanar of Sivagangai and Muthulingam of Vadavalli and that they had been stealing old iron articles from the Kavi Chamber brick kiln in Thadagam division.

Following this, the Thadagam police arrested the three and lodged them in coimbatore central jail.



They also seized 55 kg of old iron articles and a Tata Ace vehicle used in the smuggling from them.
