Man Arrested in Coimbatore After Stealing Rs 30 Lakh After Breaking the Car Window Pane, Rs 24 Lakh Seized from him

Rajeshkumar was arrested after breaking the window pane of a car in Neelambur area of Coimbatore and stealing Rs 30 lakh in cash and Rs 24 lakh in cash in his possession. Easwaramoorthy (51), a native of Pachapalayam in Neelambur, Coimbatore, has been identified as the deceased. Real estate owner. On the 14th, he arrived at The Annapurna Restaurant in Neelambur with Rs 30 lakh in cash in his car to pay money to Kannan professionally.

When he went to pick up the car again, it was found that the rear windshield of the car parked in the car parking lot had been broken and Rs 30 lakh was missing from inside. Shocked by this, he lodged a complaint with the Peelamedu police.

The police registered a case based on the complaint and formed four special squads led by Assistant Commissioner Parthiban to search for the suspects. Within 24 hours, 500 CCTV camera footage from Sitra, Neelambur, and roads were examined and the car was found.

The special cell police arrested Rajesh Kumar (33), a resident of Serayampalayam. During interrogation it was revealed, Rajesh Kumar is from Kumarapalayam in Erode district. He lived with his family in Serayampalayam, near Neelambur in Coimbatore, and worked as a car driver in a private car showroom in the Gold Wings area.

It was also revealed that he had borrowed in excess from numerous banks.



On the day of the incident, Rajesh Kumar came in his Swift car and targeted the car that was not caught in the CCTV camera in the restaurant parking lot. After breaking the glass panes and stealing Rs 30 lakh, he deposited Rs 4 lakh in his wife's bank account and Rs 75,000 in his bank account.

He targeted the car in hidden places and tried to steal the available item. Within 24 hours of receiving the complaint, we collected CCTV camera footage installed in the area.

Since the colour of the car was not well recorded on the camera, we interrogated various persons and finally nabbed him who was hiding in the house. It is necessary to install CCTV cameras in important godowns and shopping malls and 2000 cameras have been installed by the police in and around Peelamedu.

There are no cases pending against the arrested Rajesh Kumar and he is involved in the theft with the intention of earning more money in a short period of time. He also stated that when the public stops their cars and exits, they should not retain their valuables or money in the car and keep it safe.
