CCMC in continuous efforts to promote the need for good health among the sanitary workers

A master check-up for sanitary workers was conducted at GEM Hospital. This is inclusive of general examinations including, diabetes, blood pressure Scan, X-ray, ECG cardiac examination for cervical disorders, cervical cancer, red blood cell, white cell sugar level, jaundice, salt nutrient level, urinalysis and tests for liver, pancreas and digestive tract diseases were done today.



Coimbatore: Coimbatore City Corporation in its continuous efforts to promote the need for good health among the sanitary workers, has been organising a master checkup for the workers since last month.



In this regard, on Monday, a master check-up for sanitary workers was conducted at GEM Hospital.



This is inclusive of general examinations including, diabetes, blood pressure Scan, X-ray, ECG cardiac examination for cervical disorders, cervical cancer, red blood cell, white cell sugar level, jaundice, salt nutrient level, urinalysis and tests for liver, pancreas and digestive tract diseases were done today.



The inauguration of this camp was presided over by Mayor Kalpana, Corporation Commissioner M.Prathap IAS and Deputy Commissioner Sivakumar in the presence of hospital representatives and other assigned health officials.



As many as 750 workers undertook this checkup today.
