It is a good effort that everyone has come together against the BJP which is dividing the country on religious and other grounds. The issue raised by the Aam Aadmi Party at the meeting would be examined in the Congress parliamentary board, and a "good decision" will be made, according to Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge.

"The Governor of Tamil Nadu is working against the interests of the Tamil Nadu people." He keeps the legislative bills without assenting to them. A resolution passed by the Cabinet on prisoner release will also be forwarded to the Governor. He stated that he had to grant authorization to keep it for as long as he wanted.
