Magalir Urimai Thogai scheme Application Registration Camp at Tirupur - Collector inaugurates

Tirupur District Collector Christuraj inaugurated the first phase of the camp for registration of applications for Magalir Urimai Thogai scheme in Tirupur district. He also inspected the camps in different parts of the district.



Tirupur: The District Collector of Tirupur inaugurated the first phase of the Magalir Urimai Thogai scheme application registration camp at Tirupur.

The Kalaignar Magalir Urimai Thogai scheme, which provides a scholarship of Rs 1,000 to women to be implemented by the Government of Tamil Nadu, will come into effect from September.

The application registration camp for the scheme was held in 225 panchayats, 13 panchayat unions and 30 corporation wards in Tirupur district today in the first phase. The application registration camp was inaugurated by Tirupur District Collector Christuraj.



The District Collector personally inspected the ongoing application registration camps in various parts of the district and inquired from the officials about the works being carried out and the preparations made for the public.



The ration card holders attending the application registration camp have already been taken to their homes by ration shop staff and volunteers and given a specific token of the applications and the date and time to attend.
