In a statement, Kuniyamuthur Power Distribution Circle Executive Engineer Suresh said,
The maintenance work will be carried out tomorrow (July 13) at the Madukkarai sub-station. Due to this, power supply will be disrupted from 9 am to 4 pm in K G Chavadi, MGR Nagar, Palathurai, Sugunapuram, Bypass Road, B K Pudur, Chavadi Pudur, Madukkarai, Kaliyapuram, Avvoli Nagar, Ettimadai and Kovaipudur areas.
Similarly, in a press release issued by Coimbatore Electricity Board Executive Engineer Aram Valarththaan, it said, The monthly work at the Tatabad sub-station will be held on The 15th.
Due to this, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., mettupalayam road, Azhagesan road, Narayana guru road, Saibaba temple, home science college, forest college, NSR Road, Bharathi Park Cross - 1, 2, 3, Raja Annamalai Road, Central Theatre, Diwan Bahadur Road, Poo Market, Patel Road, Kaleeswara Nagar, Chellappagounder Road, CSW Mills, Range Gowder Road, Sukrawarpet, Marakkadai, Theppakula maidhanam, Ramnagar, Avinashi Road, Gandhipuram Bus Stand, Gandhipuram Crosscut Road, Siddhapudur, Balasundaram Road, Puthiyavar Nagar, Aavarampalayam, Tatabad, Alagappa Chettiar Road, 100 Feet Road, Sivananda Colony, Adco Colony and Alamu Nagar will not have electricity.
