Engineer creates APJ Abdul Kalam's handheld book in 7 languages

On the occasion of the 8th death anniversary of former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Lewis(42), a construction engineer from Kerala, has prepared a 64-page handheld book in seven languages, 2 cm high and 1.5 cm wide, containing Kalam's Proverbs.


Coimbatore: An engineer who created a handheld book containing the motto of late former President A P J Abdul Kalam in seven languages is being lauded.

The 8th death anniversary of former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam is being observed across India tomorrow.

On the occasion of APJ Abdul Kalam's death anniversary, students studying in tribal village schools on the Coimbatore-Kerala border will be made aware of APJ Abdul Kalam.



So that the younger generation should follow his sayings, Lewis(42), a construction engineer from Thrissur in Kerala, has prepared a 64-page handheld book containing Kalam's quotes of 2 cm height and 1.5 cm wide.



In the first phase, about 10,000 books printed in seven languages including Tamil, English, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Tamil, Kannada and Sanskrit will be distributed. He also announced that it will be distributed to government school students in tribal villages including Anaikatti, Mangarai and Wayanad.



"We will soon take his quotes in 22 languages to the younger generation," Lewis said.
