Three arrested for selling ganja during vehicle check

Police caught three persons working in a workshop in Tirupur who were involved in the sale of ganja and arrested them. Later, they also seized 2 kg of ganja from their possession.


Tirupur: Three persons were involved in the sale of ganja hidden in their belongings. They were arrested by the police. Similarly, one more person has been caught by the police for possessing 25 kg of tobacco products.

Veerapandi police were conducting a vehicle checking at Kallangadu in Tirupur. At that time, they rounded up three suspects who were passing by and interrogated them.

They have given contradictory answers in the investigation. Based on the suspicion, they were taken to the police station and interrogated. On checking their belongings, it was found that they were in possession of two kilograms of ganja.



The police immediately arrested saran, Muthukumar and Manikandan, all residents of Kallangadu area, who were in possession of ganja and seized 2 kg of ganja from them.

The three were working in a workshop in the area and were involved in the sale of ganja.

Similarly, a man on a two-wheeler tried to flee when he saw the police when he saw the police while the police were checking the vehicle in Meenparai area.



When he was rounded up and interrogated, it was found that he was in possession of 25 kg of tobacco products.



The police immediately arrested one Siddique, who brought the tobacco products for sale, and seized the tobacco products and a two-wheeler from his possession.
