We don’t have a problem with North Indians working here. It is their capture of power that we don’t want - Seeman in Tirupur

North Indians don't have a problem in coming here to live and work. Tomorrow, they will get citizenship and will be in a position to decide on politics and power. That is the problem, said Seeman, coordinator of the Naam Tamilar Katchi in Tirupur.

Tirupur: The reduction of Rs 200 per cylinder was made in view of the elections. Cylinder prices will go up like Chandrayaan once the elections are over. People should not believe this, said Seeman, coordinator of Naam Tamilar Katchi.

Naam Tamilar Katchi held a public meeting on the theme of 'Self-reliant Economy' at Union Mill Road in Tirupur.

Naam Tamilar Katchi coordinator Seeman participated in the function and delivered the keynote address.

“The reduction of Rs 200 per cylinder was done in view of the elections. Cylinder prices will go up like Chandrayaan once the elections are over. Don't let people believe this. No matter how many times I lose, I am the first.

In Tamil Nadu, I am fighting for any issue, be it for the farmers and labourers. That's what gives me satisfaction. People who have given a chance to all those who cheat us give me a chance. Look at how the five-year rule has been. We will export food items.

We will import luxury goods, including cars. On the contrary, products, including cars, are now manufactured and exported in India. It has been forced to hand over food items to other countries.

Seeman has never stood in alliance and I am facing elections with the overwhelming support of 8 crore people. Many more promises can be made at the time of elections. Don't be fooled into believing it.

North Indians have no problem living and working here. But the problem is that they get citizenship and come to a position to decide politics and power here. We are slaves in our own land. This is how Seeman spoke.

At the end of the public meeting, Seeman was presented with a veeraval on behalf of the youth wing of The Naam Tamilar Katchi in Tirupur North district.
