Maruthamalai Hill Road Renovation: Temple administration bans vehicular traffic

Two-wheelers and four-wheelers have been banned from plying for a month due to the ongoing repair and repair work on the Maruthamalai hill road in Coimbatore.


Coimbatore: The temple administration has ordered a ban on traffic in view of the ongoing renovation work of the Maruthamalai hill road.

For the convenience of the devotees visiting the Arulmigu Subramania Swamy temple at Maruthamalai in Coimbatore district for the darshan of the Lord, the lift room, the sevarthis waiting room, Construction of lift facility with bill issuance point, renovation of tar roads on hill road, construction of new yagasalai mandapam on top of the hill of the temple.

Construction of new toilets for men and women in the parking lot of the temple and construction of granite floor on the route of the golden chariot of the temple are in progress.



According to senior officials of the Maruthamalai temple administration, two-wheelers and four-wheelers will not be allowed to ply on the hill route for a period of one month from today and devotees can use the temple bus and stairway to have darshan of the lord.
