Coimbatore Councillor Inspects Battery-Operated Autos for Waste Collection Efficiency

Councillor Ambika Dhanapal of Ward 27, North Coimbatore, conducts a field inspection to assess the efficiency of battery-operated autos in collecting daily waste in the region.


Coimbatore: In an initiative to ensure effective waste management, Councillor Ambika Dhanabal of Ward 27, North Coimbatore, personally inspected the operation of battery-operated autos for daily waste collection.



The inspection, which took place today, covered areas like Peelamedu Dispensary Road, Pound Road, NGR Street, and Kallimedu Street. Councillor Dhanabal assessed whether these vehicles were arriving regularly and managing waste collection efficiently. Following the inspection, she emphasized to the local residents the importance of segregating degradable and non-degradable waste. Ward Supervisor Maheswari accompanied the councillor during this inspection.
