Relief Supplies Delivered to Flood-Affected People in Southern Districts

The Kovai District Sunnath Jamaath Council provided essential relief supplies to over 700 families in the flood-affected southern districts of Tuticorin and Nellai.


Tuticorin: Heavy rains on the 17th and 18th caused severe flooding in many areas of southern districts including Tuticorin and Nellai. Rescue and restoration efforts were undertaken by government employees and private organizations.



Amidst this, the Kovai District Sunnath Jamaath Council stepped in to aid the affected people by distributing essential items such as blankets, mats, soap, oil, and rice. These relief supplies were directly delivered from Coimbatore to over 700 families in the southern districts, providing crucial support to those impacted by the floods.
