Coimbatore: A car theft incident has been reported in Sowripalayam's Krishna Nagar, sending shockwaves in the local community. 49-year-old Francis, a marketing employee, found his Maruti Alto car missing when he returned home in the evening. The car was parked in front of his house in the morning before he left for work.

Shaken by the event, Francis filed a complaint at the Peelamedu Police Station. Following his report, the police have registered a case and initiated a search for the unidentified thief or thieves responsible for the car theft.
