Inauguration of New Long Jump Pit at Coimbatore Municipal School

Coimbatore MP P.R. Natarajan inaugurates a new long jump pit, constructed at a cost of Rs. 2.30 lakhs from his MP funds, at the Ramnagar Ranganathapuram Municipal School on January 3rd.


Coimbatore: A new long jump pit, valued at Rs. 2.30 lakhs, has been inaugurated today at the Ramnagar Ranganathapuram Municipal School in Ward No. 67 of Coimbatore Central Zone.





Funded by the Coimbatore MP P.R. Natarajan, this facility aims to enhance the sports infrastructure for students.

The inauguration was attended by prominent figures including District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati, Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar, Municipal Commissioner Ma. Sivaguru Prabhakaran, Central Zone Chairperson Meenaloku, Council members Vidya Ramanathan and Kannakijothibasu, Assistant Commissioner Senthilkumaran, and Health Officer Gunasekaran. The addition of this facility is seen as a significant step towards promoting sports and physical education among students in the region.
