Coimbatore Police Commissioner Inspects Proposed Sports Ground Site in Ukkadam

Coimbatore Police Commissioner Balakrishnan conducts an inspection for a potential sports ground in Ukkadam, Pullukadu area, alongside municipal officials.


Coimbatore: Police Commissioner Balakrishnan, in collaboration with Municipal Commissioner Sivaguru Prabhakaran, conducted an inspection in Ukkadam's Pullukadu area, under Ward No. 86, to evaluate the feasibility of establishing a sports ground.

The inspection, held on Thursday evening at around 6 PM, focused on a 1-acre site owned by the Coimbatore Municipal Corporation.

Accompanying the commissioners were Council Member Ahmadkabeer, Assistant Town Planning Officer Jayalakshmi, Assistant Engineer Kanagaraj, Assistant Engineer Sundararajan, and other municipal officials. The team assessed the site's potential and discussed the necessary steps for developing a sports facility in the area, aiming to promote sports and recreational activities in Ukkadam.
