Inspection of New Indoor Basketball Court at PSG Medical College, Coimbatore

Tamil Nadu Sports Development Authority Secretary Meghanath Reddy and Coimbatore City Commissioner M Sivaguru Prabhakaran inspected the newly constructed indoor basketball court at PSG Medical College.


Coimbatore: Today marked a significant development in sports facilities at PSG Medical College, Coimbatore, with the inspection of a newly constructed indoor basketball court. Tamil Nadu Sports Development Authority Secretary, Mr. Meghanath Reddy, IAS, and Coimbatore City Commissioner, Mr. Ma. Sivaguru Prabhakaran, IAS, conducted the inspection. They were accompanied by District Sports and Youth Welfare Officer Mr. Aruna, Deputy Commissioner Mrs. S. Selvasurabi, Tirupur District Sports Officer Mr. Ragukumar, PSG Physical Education Director Mr. Palanisamy, Coimbatore Assistant Commissioner Mrs. Kavitha, and Health Inspector Mr. Jerald Sathyapunithan.



The inspection team thoroughly reviewed the indoor basketball court and the athletes' rest area, appreciating the quality of the facilities. These new additions are expected to significantly enhance sports training and activities at the college.



Their visit underscores the importance of developing sports infrastructure and promoting athletic excellence among students and the local community in Coimbatore.
