AIADMK Holds Street Corner Meeting in Udumalai

The AIADMK conducted a street corner meeting in Udumalai, Tirupur district, criticizing the DMK government for ignoring the public and the central government's indifferent attitude towards the Tamil Nadu people.


Coimbatore: A significant street corner meeting was held by the AIADMK in Udumalai, Tirupur District, to voice opposition against the DMK government and the central government's policies towards Tamil Nadu. The meeting, led by Udumalai MLA and AIADMK district secretary K. Radhakrishnan, highlighted the accomplishments of the AIADMK government in enhancing the basic infrastructure of Udumalai Municipality. Investments such as waste removal vehicles, excavator loaders, robotic machines, improvements in the municipal office infrastructure, memorials, additional bus stands, pedestrian pathways, and retaining walls in the Thangammal Oorani and Kazhutharuthan Pallam areas were discussed. Furthermore, the development of parks in Anna Poonga, GTV Nagar, State Bank Colony, Sathvik Nagar, Rajalakshmi Nagar, and the installation of streetlights in various roads including Tirupur Road, Thali Road, Eliyamuthur Road, Rajendra Road, and Dharapuram Road were highlighted, with a total allocation of INR 4.88 crores. Radhakrishnan criticized the current DMK government for not initiating any new projects and continuing only the projects started during the AIADMK tenure.









The assembly was well-attended by local, union, and party officials from the AIADMK, showing a united front against what they perceive as negligence by the current state government and a callous approach by the central government. This meeting underscores the AIADMK's commitment to the welfare of the people of Udumalai and their readiness to take a stand for their rights and development needs.
