Farewell Ceremony for Mettupalayam Women's Police Station Inspector

With the announcement of the Lok Sabha elections, government officials across Tamil Nadu are being transferred. In this regard, Inspector Karpagam of the Mettupalayam All Women's Police Station was recently transferred to Chennai, and a farewell event was held on February 23.


Coimbatore: In light of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, a series of transfers among government officials is taking place across Tamil Nadu. As part of this process, police personnel in Coimbatore District are also experiencing reassignments. Inspector Karpagam, who served at the Mettupalayam All Women's Police Station, has been transferred to Chennai. In honor of her service and dedication, a farewell ceremony was conducted at the police station on February 23.

During the event, colleagues and subordinates presented Inspector Karpagam with gifts and expressed their well-wishes, marking her departure with warmth and gratitude. The ceremony was a heartfelt acknowledgment of Inspector Karpagam's contributions to the Mettupalayam community and her efforts in upholding law and order. Her transfer is part of a statewide shuffle of government officials in preparation for the forthcoming elections, reflecting the ongoing changes within the Tamil Nadu police force.
