Coimbatore: In a significant move to bolster higher education among school students, the "College Dream 2024" project was launched today (February 29) at the Codissia complex in Coimbatore. Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin kick-started the initiative, designed to provide school students with guidance on what and where to pursue higher education. During the government event, a handbook guiding higher education was released and distributed among the students, wishing them success in their educational endeavors.

The launch also marked the initiation of naanmudhalvanmentors.com, a website aimed at offering mentorship by distinguished Tamilians holding high positions in various leading organizations. This mentorship is expected to significantly benefit the youth by providing them with invaluable guidance.

In addition to the guidance and mentorship, the event highlighted the Tamil Nadu government's commitment to education equity, as Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin distributed educational loans totaling Rs.5.12 crore to 178 college students in Coimbatore. This gesture is part of the state's broader efforts to ensure that poverty or economic conditions do not stand as barriers to anyone's educational dreams.

With the Dravidian model government actively executing plans that prioritize education within the Indian Union, special campaigns have facilitated educational loans amounting to Rs.1016 crore this year, with ongoing efforts to extend up to Rs.1956 crore in educational assistance.

The "College Dream 2024" program and the educational loan distribution underscore the government's dedication to nurturing a generation that is well-educated and capable of achieving success in life. Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin's message to the beneficiaries was clear: to study with commitment and strive for success in their lives, utilizing the support provided by the government to its fullest.
