M.K. Stalin is trying to save our country from Modi: A Raja in Coimbatore

At a public meeting in Coimbatore, MP A. Raja praises Chief Minister M.K. Stalin's efforts to protect India from the policies of Prime Minister Modi, emphasizing the DMK's commitment to social justice and equality.

Coimbatore: In a significant public meeting held at Raja Street, Ther Mutti Ground in Coimbatore, commemorating the 71st birthday of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, DMK Deputy General Secretary and MP A. Raja delivered a powerful speech. The event, led by Coimbatore City DMK Secretary Na. Karthik, focused on celebrating the "Dravidian Model of Governance" and its achievements for all sections of society.

A. Raja highlighted the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK)'s unique ability to conduct public meetings, welfare assistance events, and educational programs annually, marking significant days related to the party's ideology and leadership. He specifically pointed out the significance of the birth anniversaries of Periyar, Annadurai, and Karunanidhi, revered figures in the Dravidian movement, celebrated in September. Raja stressed that such events underscore the DMK's exclusive commitment to social justice, equality, and the promotion of Tamil as a classical language, unlike other political parties.

Moreover, Raja praised Chief Minister M.K. Stalin's leadership during challenging times, particularly noting his cautious approach upon assuming office amidst the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. He commended Stalin's initiatives to provide financial assistance to those affected by the lockdown and his efforts to manage the state's finances despite the heavy debt burden left by the previous administration.

Addressing the recent tragic incident in Manipur and the absence of Prime Minister Modi's response, Raja criticized the central government's negligence and the BJP's governance, questioning the commitment of Manipur's BJP Chief Minister Biren Singh. He called for accountability and urged the Coimbatore public to reflect on the leadership that truly represents their interests and democratic values.

Raja's speech emphasized the DMK's dedication to uplifting Tamil society and its relentless effort to safeguard India from the policies deemed detrimental under Prime Minister Modi's administration.
