Various Cleanup Operations Undertaken in Coimbatore's 27th Ward

In Coimbatore's North Zone, Ward No. 27, Lal Bahadur Colony witnesses extensive cleanup operations, with Councilor Ambika Danabal overseeing the removal of roadside tree debris and comprehensive drain cleaning efforts.

Coimbatore: In an initiative to enhance urban cleanliness, Coimbatore's 27th Ward, located in the Lal Bahadur Colony of the city's North Zone, is currently witnessing a series of cleanup operations aimed at removing tree debris along the roadsides and ensuring the thorough cleaning of drainage systems.

Councilor Ambika Danabal made a visit to the site on March 14 to inspect and oversee the cleanup activities firsthand. She directed the sanitation workers to ensure that the removal of tree debris is carried out thoroughly and efficiently. This move is part of a larger effort to maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the community, reflecting the local government's commitment to environmental stewardship.

Following the inspection of the tree debris cleanup, Councilor Danabal proceeded to the main road from Peelamedu to Avarampalayam, which extends from behind the Pannari Mariamman Temple to the GRN Hospital, where drainage cleaning operations are also in full swing. She emphasized the importance of comprehensive cleaning of the drainage system to prevent waterlogging and ensure proper sanitation facilities for the residents.

Ward Supervisor Maheswari accompanied the councilor during the inspections, highlighting the collaborative effort between the ward's leadership and the sanitation workforce. These cleanup operations not only aim to improve the aesthetic appeal of the ward but also to prevent potential health hazards, demonstrating a proactive approach to urban management and public health.
