Coimbatore Municipal Corporation Commissioner Inaugurates Renovated School Buildings in Siddhapudur

Coimbatore Municipal Corporation Commissioner, Ma. Sivaguru Prabhakaran, inaugurated newly renovated school buildings in Siddhapudur, under a project funded by CRI Pumps, enhancing educational facilities for students.


Coimbatore: In a significant boost to educational infrastructure within the city, the Municipal Corporation Commissioner of Coimbatore, Mr. Ma. Sivaguru Prabhakaran, I.A.S., officially opened the renovated school buildings at the Municipal Corporation Primary School in Siddhapudur today, March 15, 2024. This renovation, funded by CRI Pumps as part of their corporate social responsibility, represents a commendable initiative towards enhancing learning environments for students.



The ceremony was conducted in the presence of esteemed guests, including municipal officials and leaders from various wards, highlighting the collective efforts towards community development. The renovation encompasses a comprehensive upgrade of the school's infrastructure, including the primary, middle, and high school sections, as well as the Anganwadi center, with an investment of Rs. 50 lakhs.



Furthermore, the Commissioner conducted inspections of ongoing development works across other parts of the city under the municipality's jurisdiction. He emphasized the importance of completing these projects swiftly and efficiently to benefit the public, particularly focusing on improving the quality of educational facilities and ensuring the provision of clean drinking water.



Additionally, the Commissioner inaugurated a new deep borewell in Konavaikkalpalayam as an alternative water source due to contamination issues with existing wells. This project, costing Rs. 15 lakhs, aims to provide safe and clean drinking water to the residents of Nanjundaapuram Ushnabad area, reflecting the municipal corporation's commitment to public health and welfare.



The day's events underscored the importance of partnerships between the government, corporations, and the community in driving positive change and development within the city. These initiatives, particularly in the realm of education, set a precedent for future projects and highlight the importance of creating conducive learning environments for students to thrive.
