Kanimozhi Campaigns in Thudiyalur, Criticizes Annamalai's Electoral Calculations

At a campaign event in Thudiyalur, Coimbatore, DMK MP Kanimozhi criticized BJP leader Annamalai's reliance on Vanathi's support for electoral victory, highlighting potential risks to Tamil Nadu and discussing various state issues.

Coimbatore: DMK's parliamentary candidate for Coimbatore, Ganapathi Rajakumar, received strong support from MP Kanimozhi during a campaign event near Thudiyalur bus station today (March 29).

She emphasized the importance of clear voting in the constituency, warning of significant risks to Tamil Nadu if mistakes are made.Kanimozhi critiqued BJP leader Annamalai for mistakenly counting on Vanathi's support to secure a win in Coimbatore, suggesting that such calculations have led him into a difficult position.

She argued that Annamalai's choice to contest from a new constituency is a strategic retreat, pointing out his current third-place standing. Kanimozhi reaffirmed DMK's unshakable victory, criticizing the BJP for spreading misinformation and causing unrest among the public.

Addressing infrastructure and governance issues, she remarked on the consistent electricity supply provided by DMK, contrasting it with Annamalai's educational background from a Kalaignar-initiated institution. She urged acknowledging the truth and highlighted the special organizations within BJP aimed at spreading their narrative.

Kanimozhi spoke on the state of peace in Tamil Nadu under DMK, contrasting it with the situation in Manipur and the treatment of women and athletes, questioning the Prime Minister's silence on these issues. She condemned the legal troubles faced by farmers in Salem for opposing a BJP notable, and the alleged electoral malpractices benefiting BJP, calling it a significant corruption in Indian history.

Finally, she criticized the complicity of AIADMK in BJP's harmful policies, urging the public to question Edappadi Palaniswami's silence on Prime Minister Modi's governance and promises, including job creation and corporate loan waivers.

Kanimozhi's speech highlighted the disparities in governance priorities, advocating for accountability and improved infrastructure over corporate benefits.
