Prime Minister Modi Highlights Infrastructure Stagnation Due to Free Schemes: Vanathi Srinivasan

Vanathi Srinivasan, Coimbatore South MLA, supports PM Modi's concerns about the impact of free schemes on infrastructure development, criticizing the DMK for divisive politics.

Coimbatore:

In a statement released on May 18, Coimbatore South MLA Vanathi Srinivasan highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's concerns regarding the impact of free schemes on the nation's infrastructure projects.

She emphasized that the DMK promotes divisive ideologies such as 'North lives, South fades', 'Aryan-Dravidian', and 'No Hindi'. She criticized the DMK for being anti-Hindu and anti-Hindi, and for frequently disparaging Hindi-speaking people.

The world's largest democratic festival, the Indian Lok Sabha elections, is ongoing. During this period, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been engaging with the media, showcasing the achievements of the BJP over the last decade and exposing the strategies of the 'INDI' alliance to win the elections. He expressed his concerns about states governed by family and corrupt parties announcing free schemes for electoral gains, which hinders national development.

PM Modi shared his worries about free bus services for women impacting metro rail projects and the deteriorating infrastructure of state bus corporations. He accused Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and other 'INDI' alliance leaders of twisting his statements for political gain, portraying him as anti-free schemes.

Srinivasan reiterated that the BJP is not against free schemes but opposes their misuse for electoral success and maintaining family rule, which hampers national progress. She pointed out that funds allocated for scheduled castes and tribes are often diverted to free schemes, affecting their development.

She cited the BJP's implementation of beneficial schemes during the COVID-19 pandemic and for farmers, emphasizing that the BJP is not against free schemes. She condemned Stalin's false propaganda against PM Modi, stating that the people will not believe these lies.

Stalin's statement on May 18 accused PM Modi of fabricating stories about South Indian leaders speaking ill of Uttar Pradesh residents. Srinivasan refuted this, asserting that DMK leaders frequently insult North Indians.

She accused the DMK of spreading divisive ideologies and the 'INDI' alliance of adopting this strategy. She mentioned the DMK's history of disparaging North Indians and pointed out that several Congress leaders also promote such divisiveness.

Srinivasan concluded by stating that the people will not believe the lies and false narratives spread by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and the 'INDI' alliance. She asserted that the BJP's achievements and positive impact on the nation are evident and that the 'INDI' alliance's divisive tactics will not succeed.

Highlighting the BJP's inclusive development approach, she mentioned the financial assistance provided to farmers and the free LPG connection scheme under PM Modi's leadership, which has greatly benefited many households across the country. Srinivasan expressed confidence that the BJP will secure a significant victory in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, with Narendra Modi continuing as Prime Minister.

She urged the public to see through the 'INDI' alliance's attempts to create division and assured that the BJP remains committed to the nation's holistic growth and development, without compromising on essential infrastructure projects. Srinivasan concluded by reaffirming the BJP's stance on free schemes being used responsibly and not as a mere tool for electoral success.
