Coimbatore: The Southern Railway's Salem Division announced today, May 20, that the mountain railway services between Mettupalayam to Ooty and vice versa will be cancelled tomorrow, May 21, due to persistent heavy rainfall and adverse weather conditions in the Nilgiris District.

Passengers who have pre-booked their tickets will be fully refunded, the division confirmed. This measure ensures the safety of passengers and the prevention of any accident that could be caused by the inclement weather.
