Heavy Rain Predicted in Parts of Coimbatore, Tirupur, and Nilgiris

Heavy rainfall is expected within the next hour in parts of Coimbatore, Tirupur, and Nilgiris. Moderate to heavy rain might also occur in other parts of the Kongu region.


Coimbatore: The Meteorological Department has issued a weather alert predicting heavy rainfall in Coimbatore, Tirupur, and some parts of Nilgiris within the next hour. Residents are advised to take necessary precautions, as these areas are likely to experience significant rainfall.

Meanwhile, other regions in the Kongu area, including Erode, Namakkal, Karur, and Salem, are also expected to receive moderate to heavy rainfall. Authorities have advised people in these areas to stay alert and prepare for the changing weather conditions.
