In Kullakkapalayam near Pollachi, a man was arrested for illegally cultivating banned ganja plants at his home, following a tip-off to police.
Coimbatore: Eswaran, a 52-year-old tailor from J.J. Colony, was arrested for cultivating ganja at his residence in Kullakkapalayam near Pollachi.
A tip-off about illegal activities led the local police to Eeswaran’s home where they discovered ganja plants being grown.
Upon further investigation, they seized 13 ganja plants from the premises. Eswaran reportedly grew the plants for personal use and sale. He was charged and sent to judicial custody.
