Health Minister Ma. Subramanian Advocates for NEET Exemption and Inaugurates New Facility in Pollachi

Health Minister Ma. Subramanian continued advocating for a NEET exemption in Tamil Nadu at an event in Pollachi where he also inaugurated a new in-patient fee division building valued at Rs. 72 lakhs.


Coimbatore: During an event at Pollachi District Government Hospital, Tamil Nadu Health Minister Ma. Subramanian inaugurated a new in-patient fee division facility, built at a cost of Rs. 72 lakhs. This modern facility aims to offer high-level medical care, comparable to private hospitals, ensuring that government hospitals are equipped to provide top-notch services to the public.



Following the inauguration, Ma. Subramanian addressed the press, stating the consistent efforts of the state government in equipping all hospitals with essential lifesaving drugs for conditions like snake bites and heart attacks. Moreover, he reiterated the government's persistent legal efforts to secure an exemption from the NEET examination, amidst widespread criticism and disturbances related to the test, now echoing in northern states as well.



The event saw the participation of notable personalities including Coimbat in District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati, Pollachi MP Eswarasamy, and city council leader Shyamala Navaneethakrishnan among others.
