DMK Provides Financial Assistance to the Family of Deceased Photographer in Pollachi Road Accident

In Pollachi, DMK offered financial aid to the family of Ajay Joseph, a photographer who died following a road accident on his way home after work.


Coimbatore: In a tragic incident, Ajay Joseph, a photographer working with the Dinamani newspaper in Pollachi, lost his life in a road accident. The accident occurred on the 30th as he was returning to his home in Sellappampalayam Pudur on a two-wheeler and was struck by an unidentified vehicle. Despite being rushed to the Coimbatore Government Hospital and receiving critical care, Joseph succumbed to his injuries.

Following this distressing event, the Pollachi city DMK, led by city secretary Navaneethakrishnan, assessed the family's dire circumstances and donated one lakh rupees to Joseph's widow, Sabina. The presentation ceremony was attended by the city's deputy secretary Dharmaraj, along with friends from the press and media.



The DMK's gesture of support underscores the community's solidarity and the party’s ongoing commitment to aid those affected by unforeseen tragedies.
