Coimbatore Train Services Partially Cancelled Due to Maintenance Work

Due to engineering maintenance at Coimbatore Railway Station, certain train services have been partially cancelled on June 14.


Coimbatore: The Salem Railway Division recently announced that due to engineering maintenance at the Coimbat - Shoranur line, train services will be partially cancelled. The following changes have been put in place:




Train No. 06458 will operate only between Shoranur and Podanur. Train No. 06459 will run between Podanur and Shoranur. Additionally, Train No. 06817 from Mettupalayam to Coimbatore will only operate between Mettupalayam and North Coimbatore. Similarly, Train No. 06010 will run just between North Coimbatore and Mettupalayam.




Additionally, the Tiruchirappalli - Palakkad Town train No. 16843, scheduled for June 14, will avoid stopping at Coimbatore station altogether and will be redirected via Irugur and Podanur. Passengers are advised to note that the train will skip stops at Singanallur, Peelamedu, and North Coimbatore stations. Commuters are encouraged to plan their travels accordingly and check for real-time updates.
