Woman Robbed of 1.5 Sovereign Gold Chain on Government Bus in Coimbatore

Kamalam, aged 60, was robbed of a 1.5 sovereign gold chain while traveling on a government bus from Sulur to Town Hall on June 28. The thief exploited the crowded bus to commit the theft.


Coimbatore: In a shocking incident, Kamalam, a 60-year-old resident of Tandal Karuppan Street, Sulur, was robbed while traveling on a government bus. On June 28, as she was traveling from Sulur to Town Hall, an unidentified person stealthily stole her 1.5 sovereign gold chain amid the crowded conditions.

Following the incident, Kamalam, who was deeply shaken, filed a complaint at the Ukkadam Police Station. The police are currently investigating the case based on her complaint, tracking down possible suspects to bring the offender to justice.
