Woman Robbed of Gold Chain on Bus in Coimbatore

Selvi, a resident of Kamarajapuram, Coimbatore, was robbed of a 1½ sovereign gold chain while traveling on a bus from GP Theatre to Sindhamani Bus Stop on July 1.


Coimbatore: In a distressing incident, a woman was robbed of her gold chain while traveling on a bus in Coimbatore. The victim, identified as Selvi, 40, a resident of Kamarajapuram, was traveling from GP Theatre to Sindhamani Bus Stopn on July 1, when an unidentified person took advantage of the crowded bus and snatched her 1½ sovereign gold chain.

Shocked by the sudden theft, Selvi reported the incident at the RS Puram Police Station shortly after realizing her loss. Police have registered a case and are currently searching for the suspect involved in this brazen act of theft. The public is urged to remain vigilant, especially in crowded places.
