Former Director of Collegiate Education and event coordinator Kumarasamy stated that the Guru Vanakkam Day festival is designed to encourage mental tranquility, positive habits, and physical well-being among the present generation. The day has been chosen specifically to help children, families, and youth excel in life without any ailments.
The event, scheduled from 7 AM to 5 PM, will feature a variety of activities including Gurumoortham, temple worship, Valli Kummi dance, other dance performances, and magic shows. The organizers have planned a comprehensive program to engage participants of all ages.
In addition to the cultural programs, the Madalayam premises will host several health and educational initiatives. These include eye check-ups, blood tests, a book exhibition, and nature exhibitions.
