KMCH Chairman Donates ₹1 Crore, Thanks Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin for World-Class Cricket Stadium Initiative

Dr. Nalla G Palaniswami, KMCH Chairman, met Youth Welfare and Sports Development Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin to express gratitude for the world-class cricket stadium initiative in Coimbatore and donated ₹1 Crore towards the project.


Coimbatore: Dr. Nalla G Palaniswami, Chairman and Managing Director of Kovai Medical Center and Hospital (KMCH), recently met Youth Welfare and Sports Development Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin to express gratitude for the Tamil Nadu Government's initiative to establish a world-class cricket stadium in Coimbatore.

During the meeting, Dr. Palaniswami presented a donation of ₹1 Crore on behalf of KMCH and Dr. NGP Institutions, Coimbatore, towards the stadium project. S. Karthikeyan, CEO of KMCH Medical College, was also present at the occasion.

The Tamil Nadu Government's decision to build a world-class cricket stadium in Coimbatore has been widely appreciated as part of its ongoing efforts to promote youth welfare and sports development in the state. This initiative is expected to significantly boost the city's sporting infrastructure and provide opportunities for aspiring cricketers in the region.

KMCH has been actively involved in promoting fitness and health awareness among the public for over three decades. The hospital has been organizing marathons in Coimbatore, which have consistently received an overwhelming response from the city's residents. These events have played a crucial role in promoting a healthy lifestyle and creating awareness about various health issues among the public.
