Minister Kayalvizhi Selvaraj Pays Tribute to Dheeran Chinnamalai on His 219th Death Anniversary

Coimbatore: Adi Dravidar Welfare Minister Kayalvizhi Selvaraj led a tribute ceremony to commemorate the 219th death anniversary of freedom fighter Dheeran Chinnamalai at the Dharapuram camp office in Tiruppur district. The event took place at the camp office of the Dharapuram Assembly constituency.

Minister Kayalvizhi Selvaraj garlanded the portrait of Dheeran Chinnamalai and paid floral tributes to honor the memory of the revered freedom fighter. Following the floral tribute, a two-minute silence was observed as a mark of respect.



The ceremony was attended by several prominent local officials and party members. S.V. Senthilkumar, the Dharapuram Union Secretary and Chairman of the Dharapuram Union Committee, was present at the event. Other attendees included S. Muruganantham, the Dharapuram Town Party Secretary, and K. Pappukannan, the Chairman of Dharapuram Municipality.

The event also saw the participation of municipal council members, a former MLA, current and former people's representatives, as well as district, union, town, and ward-level party executives. The gathering collectively paid their respects to the memory of Dheeran Chinnamalai, recognizing his significant contributions to India's freedom struggle.
