Coimbatore: The team of the upcoming Tamil horror film 'Demonte Colony Part 2' interacted with the media at Tidal Park in Hopes area of Coimbatore on August 8. The movie, directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu and starring Arulnithi, Arun Pandian, and Priya Bhavani Shankar, is slated for release on August 15.

The film crew, including actors Arulnithi, Arun Pandian, Muthukumar, actresses Priya Bhavani Shankar and Archana, director Ajay Gnanamuthu, producer, and technical artists, met with journalists to discuss the movie.

During the interaction, the team emphasized that the sequel has been made with a focus on all technical aspects, following the success of the first part. They promised a unique experience for the audience, unlike typical ghost movies, and encouraged viewers to watch it in theaters for the full effect.

The crew highlighted the significant role of VFX in the film, explaining that the extended production time was mainly due to the extensive visual effects work. They also praised music director Siyam C.S. for delivering an excellent background score that enhances the thrilling experience.

Responding to questions about the film's release coinciding with other movies on August 15, actor Arulnithi clarified that it wasn't an intentional choice. He expressed his wishes for the success of all films releasing on that day.

When asked about his political aspirations, Arulnithi humorously deflected the question, stating that he might consider politics in 2062, by which time neither he nor the journalists would be alive.

The team expressed confidence in the film's technical brilliance and its ability to offer a fresh horror experience to the audience. They noted that while the sequel follows the theme of the first part, it has been crafted with greater attention to technical details, including VFX and background score, to elevate the viewing experience.
