Karpagam Academy of Higher Education Inaugurates 21-Day Induction Programme for First-Year Engineering Students in Coimbatore

The Faculty of Engineering at Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, Coimbatore, launched a 21-day Students Induction Programme for first-year B.E/B.Tech students on August 16, 2024, featuring motivational speeches and institutional insights.


Coimbatore: The Faculty of Engineering at Karpagam Academy of Higher Education (KAHE) in Coimbatore inaugurated a 21-day Students Induction Programme for first-year B.E/B.Tech Engineering students on August 16, 2024. The event, which began at 10:00 am, aimed to welcome and orient the new batch of engineering students to the institution.



Dr. A. Amudha, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at KAHE, extended a warm welcome to the chief guest and the first-year engineering students.



Dr. R. Vasanthakumar, President of Karpagam Educational Institutions, presided over the function and addressed the gathering. In his presidential speech, Dr. Vasanthakumar advised the students to maintain discipline and make the most of the opportunities presented to them.



The chief guest, Santhakumari, a renowned motivational speaker, was introduced and honored with a bouquet. In her address, Santhakumari congratulated the students for choosing engineering as their field of study and specifically for selecting Karpagam Academy of Higher Education. She shared her personal experiences and emphasized the importance of parents in a student's life.

Santhakumari provided guidance on acquiring knowledge and seizing opportunities in the competitive world, starting from the classroom. She encouraged the students to utilize their opportunities wisely and to respect their parents. The motivational speaker also wished the students success, urging them to achieve great heights through creative and innovative thinking.

Dr. S. Ravi, Registrar of KAHE, provided an overview of the institution to the freshers. Dr. A. Amudha then introduced the heads of various departments to the students and parents, familiarizing them with the academic structure of the institution.



The inaugural ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. M. Deivanayaki, Head of the Department of Science and Humanities, Faculty of Engineering.
