Coimbatore: A tree planting event organized by We The Leaders took place near Palladam in Tiruppur district, aimed at environmental conservation and improvement.
The event was held in the Saiguru Garden area of Arumuthampalayam panchayat, where more than 50 families reside. Jayaprabha Naveen, coordinator of We The Leaders, led the initiative which saw active participation from local officials and residents.
Bharathi Chinnappan, the panchayat president, ward member Muthukumar, union councillor R.R. Ravi, volunteers, and local residents came together for the cause. The collective effort resulted in the planting of 125 tree saplings in the area.
