Tirupur: The closure of the Member of Parliament (MP) office in Udumalpet, Tirupur district, has left local residents disappointed and frustrated. The office, which was opened on August 18 last year on V.O.C Street, was a fulfillment of an election promise made by Pollachi MP Eswaran.

The MP office was established with the primary purpose of allowing the public to voice their grievances and concerns directly to their elected representative. However, despite the completion of initial setup work, the office has remained closed for several days, much to the dismay of the local population.

Citizens who arrive at the MP office to submit their complaints and requests are now forced to return disappointed, unable to access the services they were promised. In light of this situation, local residents are urging authorities to appoint staff to the MP office and make it operational for public use. They emphasize the importance of having a functional office where they can communicate their issues and seek solutions from their elected representative.
