MP Ganapathi Rajkumar Distributes Free Bicycles at St. Michael's Higher Secondary School in Coimbatore

Coimbatore MP Ganapathi Rajkumar launched the distribution of free bicycles under the Chief Minister's student welfare scheme at St. Michael's Higher Secondary School on September 4. The event saw participation from various officials and educators.


Coimbatore: On September 4, Coimbatore Member of Parliament Ganapathi Rajkumar initiated the distribution of free bicycles at St. Michael's Higher Secondary School in Coimbatore. This initiative is part of the Chief Minister's student welfare scheme aimed at supporting students' mobility and education.

The event was attended by several prominent officials and educators. Among those present were the City District Deputy Secretary Kottai Abbas, Periyakadai Street-2 Area Secretary V.I. Bathrudeen, and Circle Secretary A. Abbas. The Chairman of the Taxation and Finance Committee, Mubasira, also graced the occasion with their presence.



Representing the education department were the District Education Officer (in-charge) Paramasivam and the Personal Assistant to the Chief Education Officer, Sridevi. The school's headmaster and teachers also participated in the bicycle distribution ceremony.

This free bicycle distribution scheme, initiated by the Dravidian model government under the leadership of Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, aims to enhance student mobility and accessibility to education. The program is expected to benefit numerous students in Coimbatore, providing them with a means of transportation to and from school.



The distribution of free bicycles is seen as a significant step towards promoting education and reducing the financial burden on students and their families. It is part of the government's broader initiatives to support and encourage students in their educational pursuits.
